About Us
History
The name was implemented to focus on the larger context of the “Great Commission”, which was Jesus last words given to His disciples / apostles before ascending back to Heaven. The Great Commission has several components to it, as seen in Matthew 28:16 to 20.
It says in verse 16 – Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
The core pillars of our operation as a Christian ministry are drawn from these verses.
Verse 16 talks about THE “PLACE” of DISCIPLES, verse 17 talks about WORSHIP, verse 18 talks about AUTHORITY, while verses 19 talks about GOING, MAKING, and BAPTIZING. Verse 20 focuses on TEACHING.
Today’s church atmosphere has left many believers in an environment that doesn’t always “prepare” them to truly know and understand what we are supposed to be doing “as the CHURCH”
The Church has been limited in many ways to just “Sunday morning worship services” or evening Bible Studies being “viewed” online / in person.
However the other elements of the GREAT COMMISSION tends to not be “seen” or “STREAMED” for the global world to see. M28I steps in to create a “VALUE ADD PROPOSITION” between the church and the world / marketplace, by making disciples within Kingdom environments (locally and globally) from all nations, bringing forth a sense of unity in PLACE, WORSHIP, AUTHORITY, GOING, MAKING, BAPTIZING and TEACHING to achieve the HEART and MIND of Christ.
The unique structure and identity of M28I allows freedom to go beyond the typical traditional walls of “church building” or “temples” or “cathedrals” but creates what we like to call “co-working spaces for Jesus Christ to be shown in all aspects of the Christian discipleship.
The ministry had the opportunity to observe and discover how evangelism and discipleship were happening across various countries from a diverse group of people. Based upon these observations, M28I Ministries launched their 2022 Strategic Visions | Strategic Missions initiatives- which was designed to allow different countries/nations to have a particular Great Commission focus within the ministry and display it in unity of faith among other nations,
This initiative included over 180 participants, in which we had designated teams (known as chapters at the time) and selected leaders over these teams. The following countries were:
